The Brownie to End Worlds

Some of you have asked us where we got the name for our brownie - The Brownie to End All Brownies (aka The Brownie). The name is quite simple. One day we were playing around in the kitchen and had the idea to create a brownie. We wanted to combine the intense chocolatey richness of fudge with the toasted, nutty goodness you typically find in chewy edge brownies. We did not want it to be too heavy, yet rich enough to satisfy the most urgent of chocolate cravings. The challenge took one month to perfect, but boy did we ever succeed. Our brownies are so good they have been known to cause withdrawal symptoms in children and chocoholics alike. We promise you will love these brownies as much as we do. If not, send them back to us and we'll eat them for you!

"Sweet Cream of the Crop!" By EmilyO from River North, January 3, 2010 I was at a wedding recently and was delighted by the wedding favor: a cute package filled with French macarons. For years I have looked for a French macaron that could rival the tasty treats I can’t get enough of when I travel to Paris. At last, this foodie’s dreams have come true! Panna Dolce’s French macarons are every bit as tasty as my Parisian treats. The wedding favors were Apricot Preserves and Chocolate Caramel Marshmallow but on their website, they boast a mouth-watering list of flavors and I can’t wait to try them all (first on my list is Almond Butter and Strawberry Jelly)! They also make brownies and “overloaded” cookies, like Toffee Pretzel Peanut Butter Crunch! In addition to these being flawless in flavor, they are adorable and made the perfect wedding favors. I’ve always been a fan of sending cupcakes as gifts, but will be using Panna Dolce’s sweet treats in the future. I just placed my first order and sent a 16-pack to my brother’s office in California. The gift arrived promptly and made my brother a hero at work. He loved it as much as I do! Thank you, Panna Dolce!!

"Sweet Somethings...." By mridvika from Herndon, December 29, 2009 Don't mistake the cookies and brownies at Panna Dolce for any regular baked cookies and brownies. These goodies at Panna Dolce become sweeter and tastier because of all the care and concern that goes in preparing the orders. Every order is a special one for them and I for sure can confidently vouch for that. I could not have trusted anything but Panna Dolce’s quality Macarons and Cookie Collection as a first time gift to my in-laws in Ohio. My relatives loved the french delicacy that looked even more appetizing in the beautifully gift wrapped boxes. I was particularly amazed at their post-delivery service when Justin, Panna Dolce’s Chief Taste-Tester, called me up to ensure if the recipients liked the goodies! The personal attention that I received is a testimony to the fact that the PD team is here to strengthen relationships with its customers for a long long time. Kudos to the Panna Dolce team for leaving such a positive impression on me. I am sure to order again in near future. Click here to read on Metromix.com

Panna Dolce's pastries are a great find. My wife and I spent a couple weeks in Paris last spring and she became addicted to macarons. Coming back to Chicago we looked all over for authentic tasting macarons - I surprised her by having these delicious macarons delivered to her work. The packaging and the all the fun flavors were a huge hit!! Since then we have expanded to taste some of the other offerings like my favorites the White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry overloaded cookie and the Toffee Pretzel Peanut Butter Crunch. I am very happy I found this online bakery. Click here to read on Yelp.com
